Richard E. Lockhart
Mr. Richard E. Lockhart, Chief Executive Officer, has extensive experience in industry. He has held executive positions in manufacturing operations with profit and loss responsibility; sales and sales management positions for industrial suppliers and equipment companies, as well as, staff and middle management positions for the support of operations. He founded Lockhart Communications in 1989. He gives significant time to counseling and advising municipal, business and academic organizations relative to their overall direction and in meeting the needs of their constituients. Municipally, he is the second vice-chairman of the Lowell, Massachusetts Planning Board and is the Planning Boards' representative to the Historic Board; both boards overseeing real estate development. He served on the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments, a regional economic development and planning agency for many years as a representative of the City of Lowell. Academically, Mr. Lockhart serves on several boards at his alma mater , Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. He serves on the Deans' Advisory Board to the Sawyer Business School, that advises on overall business school and cirriculum development. Mr. Lockhart serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Innovation and Change Leadership, a "center of excellence" at Suffolk that researches and provides services relative to invoking innovative practices in business organizations. He also serves on the Marketing Advisory Board that councils the marketing department on its' direction, especially cirriculum development that reflects the needs of the workplace. Mr. Lockhart serves on the marketing committee for the Merrimack Valley Venture Forum , an organization that provides services and resources to growing technology companies. In his role, he helps develop marketing strategy in support of the growth of the venture forum. He resides in Lowell, Massachusetts with his wife Rosemary of 39 years. They have three daughters and three grandchildren. Richard enjoys salt water fly fishing, gardening and cooking.
